The pastries, while traditionally a highlight, were quite expensive and did not justify their price in terms of quality or portion size. For my favorite drink, the sago't gulaman (Pearl and gelatin drink), which I was looking forward to, was filled with so much ice that it felt like I was paying for ice rather than the actual drink. Overall, the visit fell short of expectations, and I hope improvements are made in the future to justify the premium pricing and reputation.
I was visiting from the east coast and so excited to stop in and grab some baked goods to bring back. I had always loved Goldilocks when I lived out this way. But….. if you like standing around, waiting, with no one to help you and the employee who finally acknowledges you says “wait for the cashier”… The customers before us rang the little bell on the counter and the employee helped them and then removed the bell from the counter. ? I guess they were avoiding having to take care of their customers. Ended up leaving, empty handed, because they clearly didn’t want any business.
Definitely not satisfied we ordered two orders of lumpiang Shanghai there was not enough meat inside it felt like just eating an empty egg roll, poor quality, I will never go back to this place?I don’t know how they sleep at night selling poor quality food ????
This is not the cake I expected for my daughter's birthday cake looks horrible for $70 cake, the blue cake is what we expected to be made just like that but in colored pink, the result is horrible.
Goldilocks food and baked goods have been about the same for years.
