Mi Burrito Mexican Grill - Cerritos

I typically avoid going to restaurants in the morning, so the idea of going to one that had just opened last night didn't appeal to me. However, when we walked in from the hot morning and felt the AC, I was pleasantly surprised. I enjoyed the atmosphere. We ordered our food and wow, they exceeded our expectations. Everything was delicious and fresh, especially the tostada chips. Usually, chips at other places are stale, but here they were amazing. I highly recommend the burritos!

My daughter and I love this place and now my toddler son loves it too. I went to see the Dodger game with him and I expected to go and get it since he had eaten a lot, but he eats! He loved the chips and eat the beans and guacamole from the chips like a spoon. My husband didn't want for the Dodger/Angel game, so I took beans and salsa to go and my son loved the beans again. I could pick him up with his beans. Can wait to see the Dodger game there this weekend with the children's cans.

I've tried this place twice, and I can't understand why a place led by Latin cannot know how to do a hard taco right. It's soggy instead of crispy, it's not a hardshell taco! I also had an enchilada there and learned how to do it right. I'm sure other people like their food, but that's my own experience and opinion. I won't recommend them.

I decided to give Mi Burrito another try after hearing great things from many of my friends. I visited the restaurant on a Tuesday for lunch to try their Taco Tuesday Special, which offers $1.39 tacos with a choice of El Pastor, Carnitas, shredded beef, or chicken. I had to wait to be seated, but once I was, the server brought out tasty chips and salsa. The salsa had a medium level of heat, but I wish it had more chili peppers for an extra kick. I devoured the chips before the server even asked me for a drink order, as the service was a bit slow. I ordered El Pastor, shredded beef, and carnitas tacos. The tacos were on the smaller side, served on four corn tortillas. Despite the slow service, the tacos were delicious and I would definitely return for them. Overall, everything was good, just with the exception of the slightly slow service.

I often order UberEats from this place when I'm at work, this was my first time dining In. Ordered some Carnitas and shrimp tacos, they were so delicious, good size and perfect amount of meat, tasted very fresh too. The carnitas tacos were my favorite. Best Michelada I've had in a long time. Definitely eating here again. Service was great too.
