Alchymista - Ceske Budejovice

This is an amazing medieval restaurant. beyond and much more important, this place has the best food they can get in the Czech Republic (we are a Brazilian couple living about 2 years)! ask for the menu of the month and enjoy the best of the Czech quest. really, it would be unfair to compare the eating here with other places close to. the same applies to the service: although they do not speak English, they will try to get them what they need, which is very rare in the Czech Republic. I wish I could give this place more than 5 stars! if they're around, don't miss this place!

We ordered the daily special. The beetroot risotto was amazing and my partner enjoyed his food (pork dish) too. Unfortunately there was no English menu for us and they couldn't speak much english, so we did struggle a bit.

Great food, friendly staff and nice atmosphere. The decoration of the restaurant is quiet nice as they made it look as alchemist's basement. The inside garden is very nice as well.

Everything is great here! My boyfriend and I come frequently. I love the food and the unique atmosphere. The male servers are excellent, but the female servers sometimes act like they don't want to be working there, and have a bad attitude.

Decent place with a nice atmosphereand and truely friendly and commited staff: czech cuisine staff and service atmosphere food could be served in more appealing way mildly oversalted, shall be less so customer can spice ap per personal preference
