The food was average at best. The service was okay, but what really did the damage was when we said we didn 't want to pay the 10% assumed gratuity charge. I personally feel that tipping is a luxury and a courtesy from customer to staff. Their wages get paid like the rest of us. Simple as. When we paid everything around the gratuity fee, we were asked why we hadn 't paid the remaining said gratuity fee and why? Was there anything wrong with the meal/service? , asked the gentleman. I responded with words to the effect of I 'm skint . He proceeded to turn his back in a mood, not say anything and walk off. Arrogant as f if you ask me. If we wish to tip you, it 's our place to do so, not your right. I won 't be going there again.
