Aurelia Honest Food Drink

It saddens me to see this place going so far downhill. Mick the bartender is fantastic, but everything else is pretty disappointing now. First, the restaurant. The ladies bathroom door has been broken for weeks, it's been incredibly warm inside and was told the owner can't afford to replace the A/C unit so can't turn it up too high, and then the horrible smell when you walk in takes a bit to recover from and regain your appetite. If you run a restaurant, you need to be able to maintain it! Then the food... IT'S THE SAME THINGS ALL THE TIME! It is incredibly boring and unless you check the menu daily to catch a one off dish, it gets old fast. The food itself isn't great anymore, either. Usually not seasoned enough, but sometimes, like the hatch burger the other day, way too salty. For how much the dishes have increased in price, they would hopefully be seasoned correctly. With so much more variety, better value and maintained restaurants in town, Aurelia has become a lesser choice over a first.

Some of the worst tasting food I have tasted. Very unseasoned no flavor no taste. The best thing we had was the brussel sprout appetizer excellent the food was garbage plain garbage Service: Dine in Food: 1 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3

Server Karen had no training at all. She knew nothing about the whiskey list. She brought over a three ring binder to show my husband. Next the beer list. She had to leave our table again to get a list of the beers. Ordered the beef and broccoli. It was just mediocre. Not worth it for the price. They had no bread for the table. Nor did they offer a dinner salad. Will not be returning. Service: Dine in

Saw us 45 minutes too late for our reservation and were from the 3 most popular menu items. the courts we decided upon were bland.

What a delightful find in the magical city of Chagrin Falls. Although the menu is limited, it changes daily and seemingly offers a fresh fish, chicken and beef dish. All items feature fresh seasonal vegetables. My salmon was moist, tender and seasoned just right. Our waiter was cordial and knowledgeable of the menu items and attentive to our table as needed. Looking forward to a return visit!
