The Grill On The Alley - Chakphong

We called in here one evening after spotting it on Google. Walking up a narrow soi with empty shops, I was expecting the worst, but was pleasantly surprised by a welcoming, bright, clean restaurant. Although there were ten of us in our party, the staff were not fazed and quickly set up a table for us.The restaurant serves both western and Thai food, with burgers a speciality. I personally ate Thai and found the food tasty and reasonably priced. The burgers certainly appeared to be home made and were a very good size. Most of our party were happy enough with their meals and although the price of the burgers was a little high,, overall a very pleasant experience.

Hidden jewel of Rayong. Great place to eat if you want western food.

Expensive, yes, but the ingredients are premium and the sizes are quite huge.
