Tag's Meat Market Deli - Chalmette

I went to get the gumbo hogshead cheese...they were sold out....Gotta go back...Gotta try it. I did try the regular hot hogshead hogshead cheese...tasty good.

Although I didn't order a bite due to the lack of hunger. I did visit the meat market and made a few groceries with them. I sampled their homemade hog head cheese for the first time and it wasn't bad at all. A very quaint and homely market and restaurant for the Locals and far abroad Louisianians to drive all the way from wherever to Chalmette just to show them love and take some hog head cheese back with them.

I have a growing teenager and the 7.49 burger meal fills him up and the meats are always super fresh....

The hog's head cheese was delicious and I was able to try a few different varieties before I bought one.
