Small stop meals on our way to avoid highway areas. Very friendly, warm and fast service. Very good and cheap food. Super overwhelming servers.
The meurette eggs are delicious and the pan of the sea top In short, we have been treated with impeccable service.
Small bar restaurant in a shopping mall that does not pay for a mine but where many premises are found. We took a dish of the day (9€30) with a burgundy and dauphinois gratin; We'd believe in Grandma's. The meat was so tender that we didn't need a knife to cut it, and the sauce was delicious!
By rights this place should be on a leafy tree lined street in a charming little village where you can watch the world go by. It’s not. It’s in a fairly dreary shopping mall but don’t let this put you off. When I went there the place was very busy with only one waitress who was rushed off her feet. Because of this service was a little slow but not excessively so. My friends and I all had the Plat de jour (Beef stew with fries) which was superb. The food was simple which I can only describe as being honest and authentic. It felt like I had gone to a French persons house for some proper French home cooking. The waitress was super friendly and patient with my poor French. Despite being situated in a shopping mall it did feel friendly and welcoming. Note that food is only served at lunch time but if you are staying in one of the local hotels with overpriced beer and lacklustre atmosphere I suggest you come here for pre dinner drinks and hang out with the locals.
