Contribuisci feedbackHere after the visit of Chateau Serrant. Beautiful ambience with a view of the Loire. The menu had a set menu plus a la carte, including a few vegetarian dishes. Not massive portions in the set menu but my husband had very tasty....I had foie gras together with an onion chutney and roasted brioche slices. It was nice. Nice staff Good wine
Very average quality food, but not over price. The second course came while we ate the first. It was taken away and then 't come for another 35 minutes and was clearly held 'warm' during this time. Everything feels a little hurry... and uncarried... but it was the 15th. August!
By accident my partner and I found this charming well positioned restaurant overlooking the Loire. We were pleasantly greeted even though we hadn’t booked and we were ushered to a table. We ordered from the Menu Liberte which offered lots of choice including local specialities....I choose the starter of ouef cocotte with trout which was adventurous, tasty and well presented. My partner found there was also a well considered vegetarian choice and went with the tagliatelle which again was well cooked. To finish, I can recommend the trilogie de cremes brûlées. The staff to a person were very accommodating and worked tirelessly through the evening. Une expérience formidable Le Bistrot des Quais.
Delicious food served by young wonderful team. Sit outside if you can with a great view as you are on the Loire. A set evening menu for €28 with great options. Good wine list.
We had a nice evening here, it rained a little, but that made for a good sunset from the terrace that is in a really beautiful place, and is covered so that you can sit out at any time. The service is very good, almost... a bit too efficient as they have come to take our order very quickly, while we only found our way around the menu and we felt a bit rushed, but then when I asked if we were thinking a moment to think that they came back after a few minutes (often in restaurants I find if you were asking for more time you 't see them again for age, as if you really missed it... Husband had the pièce de boucher, the Rump steak was, she assures no gristle or fat and it was really 't, and she's on her noses when he asked for bien cuit (which everyone knows is the same as an English medium, but sometimes you get an eye role for the demand for him, but what she did was carefully cut it in three pieces before cooking, so that it was It was a good generous dish of food and the sauce was also beautiful. He had to follow a cheese that always seems beautiful. I was tried by the plank végétalienne, amusingly translated as 'vegan plank', but my determination to go plants based, whenever possible gave way and I had the plank océane, which was really tasty, with a remarkable series of fish and seafood including zander (I have just arranged this in my fish cookbook, and that is the name in English, although other sources call it pies it seems pretty funny to talk about eating a plank, but I'm not sure how you would translate it a trancher? It is basically a whole meal in one it served the last lush little pot of crémet d ' Anjou with fruit-coulis separated and as represented very good value. Overall a very pleasant experience, service, food and location in fact very good (and certainly no sense, we were less well treated to not be French regarding us. Then we went and left the dog floor mat there and had to go back a few days later, and they were really nice about it and kept it safe for us.
