Lovely fresh crepes. Free wifi OFFERED without asking. Merci beaucoup! Au Revoir France. We always miss you and look forward to return!
Because there was nowhere else open, apart from one or two fast food places, due to French Bank Holiday, against our better judgement, we decided to eat here. Meat was off the menu which Left little else except crepes or salad. My hard boiled egg salad 10€ consisted of 3/4 egg, not even a whole egg??? And about two sliced tomatoes, well spread out. My husbands crêpe was better. But 30€ for a pathetic tomato salad, a crepe, a creme brûlée and 1/4 of red wine. That is a lot of money. I cannot recommend this place unless you are truly desperate!
While waiting between trains this restaurant, right opposite the station ,provided an excellent meal for us. We had just under two hours available and without rushing we enjoyed a light main of crepes or salmon plate with crepes for dessert. The waitresses were a pleasure to have wait on us and were very accomodating to our broken English and erratic requests. The meals were delicious and enjoyed by all in our party. The dessert Melba crepes and Grand Marnier were delightful to finish on.
Very nice frame. The atmosphere is soothing. There are 3 billiard tables for a game before your train or just for a relaxed afternoon. Prices are somewhat expensive, but the historical place and service give complete satisfaction.
Extremely friendly welcome. For his travelers. Simple dishes, but carefully prepared. A very good place to eat between two trains or for a pleasant stopover.
