What's the point of upgrading to a larger size if we're not getting what we paid for? McDonald's headquarters should address this issue. After reading other reviews, it seems like this is a common occurrence.
We usually don't go there, but we made a quick stop on our way to Montreal to grab something to eat. The place was clean and not too busy. We ordered MacChicken, salads, and french fries. Canada isn't very cheap, so we paid 28 Canadian dollars for the three items.
This McDonald's location is the worst I have ever been to. Despite not being regular fast food eaters, my family enjoys an occasional visit to McDonald's. However, this particular location near our home has consistently disappointed us. The morning staff is usually okay, but the older crew struggles with malfunctioning debit/credit machines. In the evenings, it's even worse with frequent issues and lack of oversight. There have been times when I have not trusted the staff and had to throw away my meal. We now drive an extra 10 minutes to a different McDonald's for better service. This location desperately needs improvement or new ownership. I strongly advise against visiting this restaurant, as there are better options nearby. It's disappointing that I have to leave such a negative review, but this location has earned it. The Chambly McDonald's needs to make significant changes or consider selling the restaurant.
Sure it receive a recent face lift but ordering there with kids in rush hour is a mess. There's not enough room in front of they ordering counter. For the rest expect the typical Mcdonald's experience. The restaurant offer a small indoor park for kids
Since the arrival of the new systems, it's very unpleasant going to the mcdo. you order quickly (I'm still at the cash registers directly and not at the machines) and stuffing to serve takes forever. mcdo announced losses in the last quarters. I just think I'm seeing what happened, I'm not surprised at all. Once I turned back, because the queue waiting for his meal was huge and the majority was discouraged. I only wanted a coffee and I would have waited so long because I was told we have to wait for our turn and number. The cashier won't stop what she's doing to make a simple coffee. If there are 8 customers waiting for a big order... well you'll be served then. Don't you hurry, my friend!I've heard my chance on Saturday in the evening and no better. No smiles, erroneous command (although I repeated 3x what I wanted to be certain that we are not mistaken), warm and soft fries. And what about waiting. and woe if we have to go back to the counter because a item is not the right, or it lacks what. I have no idea who at the management office has had this brilliant idea of a new system but decidedly, it must not go often to its restaurants - incognito - to see how the hell happened. For us, mcdo has ended. There are other restaurants elsewhere that make it a pleasure to serve you with a smile, a meal without error, hot, etc. Moreover by completing the post-meal survey I had a manager who reminded me to apologize. She'll talk to her team again. She told me it wasn't normal and offered me a free trio. I refused. I don't want to eat for free. I want a good normal service for this type of restoration when I go. So for me, mddo's been over for a long time. I'll encourage our local fast foods that serve you with a smile, and quickly.
