Relais De Chambord

We came to eat last Saturday for convenience as we were sleeping at the château relay after having driven 5 hours from Lyon we sat down at 7:30 p.m. after cocktails we ordered the starter arriving at 9:00 p.m. (perfect egg with a velvety) the latter was good but more than an hour of waiting is not acceptable then another hour of waiting for the relatively bland coq au vin dishes. EVERY table around us complained about the wait, there were maybe 40 customers for 4 servers I don't know where the problem comes from but having a restaurant next to such a beautiful monument of our national heritage and managing like that is sad, I myself worked in catering a long time ago I understand that it's complicated and I very rarely leave negative reviews but this is too much. The price is not a problem but for service and cuisine of this level it becomes one.
