Golden Crab Seafood - Champaign

Great food, awesome staff and pretty cool decor. After you order your not waiting a long time before you are served HOT food. Love this place.

Very polite. Service was excellent. The Best Catfish ive had in awhile. What part of the Amazon was the fish caught at? Damn. The Catfish was from the other side of the world. The Calamari is excellent. The seasoning Hot as hell.

We went to eat lunch there last week and loved it! I got the fried shrimp with French fries. The shrimp was fried perfectly and they were really large! I ended up giving half to my partner because I couldn’t finish it all! It was so good! My partner order the lobster roll and it was filled with large chunks of delicious lobster. He split his with me and it was incredible. We have already decided we have to come back with our kids and get a boil. The wait staff was very friendly and attentive. If you haven’t tried Golden Crab, you need to. We will absolutely be back!

We tried this place when we discovered Jumbo Crab was closed. The inside is very cute. We order a few different dishes among 4 people. The clam chower and zombie drink were good, but everything else was pretty poor. The seafood boil with garlic butter was watery and overly peppery to the point I couldn't eat it. We brought it up to the waiter and he was polite but we were told that's just how they do it. We were still charged for the food we couldn't eat and the bill was roughly $100. To me, it's not worth it to risk returning to try them again, so we won't be back. We stopped for food somewhere else on the way home.

Amazing experience. The food was phenomenal. There was no pressure to hurry through our meal. Our server was respectful, attentive, and polite. It was one of the best customer service experiences we've seen at a sit-down restaurant.
