100% not recommended. came here because it was the favorite place of my friends as subordinate and they got married. bouncers didn't let anyone in because we were too old. they said they want protective cartridges that are 19? they lost thousands in the turnover when they are ~25 people away.

This is the worst bar in champaign, I don't go to school here and I was turned away more than 3 times, although I was willing to pay the ridiculous 20$ coverage to get in. which cash pays customers? especially at the end of the week. go somewhere else.

We went there tonight, as alumina, with salaries, they wouldn’t let us in, or our wedding party in… because we were over age. They said it was a “students only night”

Not as smelly and sticky as old 202 East Daniel's location, but cold beer. Great to see namesake IL bar carrying on!

The experience of working at this restaurant was truly awful. The management encourages sales by pressuring bartenders to coerce their friends to come and drink, even resorting to screaming and threats. Jason Reda went as far as saying, "If your friends won't come out and drink this weekend, then they're not your friends." Also, it is worth noting that if you are still employed there and they are still requiring you to scan your thumbprint, they are violating the law.
