Long John Silver's (70218) - Champaign

It had been many years since we last visited a Long John Silver's, but we will definitely be returning to this location! The fish was large and delicious, the fries were excellent, and the coleslaw was top-notch. Our server, Ariel, provided fantastic and very helpful service. Since it had been a while since our last visit, Ariel was patient and assisted us in choosing our meals and explaining everything. We commend her for her excellent customer service! The only issues we encountered were that the drink station was missing a metal grate to hold your drink while filling it, and the floor was slightly greasy. However, these minor details will not deter us from returning. Thank you for a very pleasant experience!

I ordered lunch for my work and it took over 30 minutes to receive the food. The order was wrong and I didn't have time to go back and fix it. They also charged me $5 for a large drink. I will not be returning. I recommend going to Captain D's instead, as it is better, faster, and has cheaper prices.

The restaurant was just okay. Unfortunately, my chicken wasn't as fresh as the chicken served at the table next to us. The people at the neighboring table received fresh, delicious food, and the employee even stayed to chat with them. I assume they must have known each other personally.

I used to love this restaurant in general (not just location specific as I 'm not from here. However, this location is disgusting inside and out. The owner should be ashamed. The food was ok but honestly I felt guilty touching it seeing howdisgusting it was inside. The staff seemed courteous minus some unheard remarks about us eating in here that I couldn 't makeout the entirety of. Almost every single table was dirty, floor greasy, leftover sauce packets tossed here and there. The trashcan by the exit door was bagless and pulled out in front of the door. We just left our stuff on the table since I didn 't seeanyone up at the counter at this point. In their defense they were cleaning I think. All the same this is the last time we willbe here which I 'm sure doesn 't matter but maybe a GM or the owner will see this and know the truth. Someone needs to step upand freshen things a bit before yet another Long John 's shuts it 's doors down.

Fresh food. Good service. This is the best long johns I've ever eaten at!
