Dok Mai Lao Trattoria Italiana

We ordered 2x 1/2 litre of red wine which was very tasty, considering we haven't drank wine for about 6 months. Ravioli, Carbonara and Regina Pizza were the main meals. All 3 were tasty and the pizza especially was great. The base was crispy and the toppings and cheese had a great flavour. Would recommend any of the pasta or pizza dishes. Great service and very welcoming staff. If you're wanting a nice atmosphere indoors, you have to visit this restaurant.

Simply put, the food was excellent and possibly the best we have had in Laos. The took us to the secret garden and ambiance was perfect for our traveling family. The owner apologized for minor changes to our dishes caused by import shortages and a broken refrigerator. Then they proceeded to blow our minds with amazing dish after amazing dish! Worth your time! Eat here!

A real and authentic Italian restaurant! OK price is a little bit expensive (pizza start at 50 000 kip) but quality have always a price! Good tips : the coffee made with a real espresso device and the beans come from the Bolovens coffee farm! A great and local coffee with a correct price : 10 000 kip

Absolutely great Italian food. The restaurant has a nice garden in the back which is quite peaceful. Opening the menu you immediately know that the owner is a real Italian. Real Italian dishes with a lot of pastas (certainly not only pizza). Tried several dished here and all were really good. So prepare for a nice experience (although little more expensive that normal Lao food).

The favorite restaurant for me and my family in Pakse. Value for money. The kids love the tasty pasta and pizza. My husband and I the steaks, but first allways the appetizer plate with ham and cheese. Only real italian ingredients, with good quality. The pizzas with real mozzarella and not fake cheese like other places. Lao staff and italian owner are verry friendly and helpfull. Nice garden in the backyard.
