We have been on our way for a long time and this pizzeria has been recommended to us. despite the arrival near their closing time (they are a small, independent restaurant in a village, all staff members were very welcome when we arrived. the children's menu was very good. worth a small pizza (which was huge in the did! plus ice for 8.50 €, like the salad.
We were in vaux with our boat and went to the restaurant. the pizza is handmade and you can see that it is prepared. all pizzas go into the wood stove in the corner. good house wine.
We visited this Restaurant for an Evening Meal, whilst staying in Vaux. Our first impressions of the Husband and Wife ? Team were not good as they were standing outside the Entrance smoking, before opening for business. Having said that, the Pizza was reasonably priced...and wholesome sadly, there was only bottled, rather than 'Pression ' Draught Beer available and my expensive bottled Kronenbourg 1664 was served, straight from a shelf, rather than the fridge and therefore luke warm, rather than chilled very disappointing and rather unprofessional. The Restaurant was busy, mainly with locals, so its reputation, despite our experience, must be good. Doubt if we would return, however.
The welcome is friendly, the smiling staff. Pizza's not bad. Too bad the fries aren't home. but the honesty of the restaurateurs who specify on their map all the ingredients that are not home is rather appreciable. At least we know what to expect when ordering his dish is good. the presentation of the dishes is neat. The little one is that you can eat outside on the terrace.
