Tokyo House - Chandler

I would give them a 1-star rating, but at least they made an effort. The sweet and sour chicken tasted like it wasn’t made fresh. The egg fried rice was extremely salty. My wife said the chow mein was just okay, but the soup wasn't bad. Overall, it was way overpriced; I spent $74 just to pick at the chicken and eat a little of the chow mein and rice. Food: 1/5.

This used to be my favorite Chinese restaurant, but ever since the ownership changed, the food just isn’t the same. Before I left, I used the restroom and noticed a mouse trap on the floor next to the sink, along with a dead roach. That really grossed me out, so I didn’t even touch my food. I wish I could share some pictures!

I just drove nearly 30 minutes to reach this restaurant, only to find out that my order had been cancelled, even though my bank account was already charged. When I inquired about it, all they offered was a free appetizer, which didn’t address the main issue of my cancelled order. This was a very frustrating experience, and I won’t be returning!

Every time I come to Tokyo House the food seems to get better and better! I love the orange chicken, house fried rice, all the sushi, and egg rolls… but everything I’ve tried has been pretty impressive especially considering that they are not expensive (they charge less than most restaurants nearby). They changed ownership and I’ve noticed how much they care about customer service and feedback, everyone engages with me and everyone else that comes through like a friend… the energy is good whenever I come in, employees seem happy and service is on point! Definitely one of my favorite hidden gems!! I recommend to all my friends and family!

Ordered a shrimp tempura roll and several items via uber eats. The shrimp was raw! The chicken is boiled in the yakisoba. Don’t know why you would have a buy one get one free promotion with terrible items. The orange chicken was pretty decent but food prepared improperly is a dealbreakerFood: 1/5
