The burgers were fresh and the fries were amazing! Love the location as well. Everything was clean and opened. Will come back in the future!
Always a great meal, with terrific service. We really enjoy this place!
The bar was dirty on arrival even though no one was there and the bartender was not busy. We had to clean our own area, or have our arms in sticky stuff. The burger (with the $3 up charged grass fed beef) had great flavor. Unfortunately at $16.50 it didn’t come with fries. Fries were excellent, but too many to eat for one person and an additional $6. Burger and fries for $22.50 is too steep. The Southwest salad was terrible and my GF threw it away after 6 or 7 bites. The TVs at the bar all have blue screens so it is difficult to see a game, therefore not recommend to watch a game there.
Thinking of the name and the menu choices here, it reminded me of the classic scene from that great 70 's chronicle of fraternity debauchery, Animal House. In this scene, the freshman Larry Pinto Kroger is visited by the good angel on one shoulder and the evil devil on the other.... That 's the perfect description of Truland if you want to listen to the angel, and be virtuous, you won 't be disappointed with any of their delicious salad options, or if you want to give in to your demons and be decadent, they 've got a long list of delicious and indulgent burgers, sweet potato tots and a full bar.Our visit was at lunch, and we decided to listen to the lady in white on our good shoulder. My friend had the Strawberry Fields salad, and I enjoyed the Brussels and Bacon salad (although with the bacon, I probably was flirting a bit with the guy in red camped out on my other shoulder . Both salads were beautifully presented and generously portioned. My friend and I both loved our choices. The Brussels and Bacon featured perfectly roasted brussels sprouts, bite size squares of raw and roasted (read crispy YUM! kale leaves, real bacon bits, goat cheese, walnuts, cranberries and a delicious lemony vinaigrette. It hit all the flavor notes perfectly and was the kind of salad I will crave for a while!Although I didn 't catch our servers name (she had large glasses, a great demeanor and huge smile , she was awesome, quick, friendly and professional.Hope to come back and sample some of their more indulgent menu items to satisfy the dude in red with the pitchfork, camped out on my bad shoulder.
