Unfortunately, the hospitality has diminished. We have been coming to Crete for several years in a row now and eat at carpe diem once an evening as standard. This year, however, the magic is gone. The service is poor, the food recommended on the menu is not available and it is also indicated that it is not available the next day. We really loved it here so much that we went back three nights in a row!! We tried a variety of items on the menu and each were delicious and also at a reasonable price. The meals themselves are simple, but they are well seasoned and authentic. The menu items are all fresh, so at times some things are not available. The staff were friendly and inviting. We always felt comfortable and satisfied, which is what brought us back. Service: Dine in
