Yaki Sushi - Chantilly

I think the food would be 3.5 as the fish itself was fresh and delicious the right temperature and right texture, size and taste. The rice itself was pretty horrid. I wouldn't eat the rice on its own let alone with the fresh fish... HARD, NUT LIKE AND DRY. I the saving grace was the fish itself. If I go back I will stick with sashimi. I ordered a la carte chutoro, hotate, botan ebi, yellowtail (2x) and a spicy scallop roll. The fish...on point. The rice truly, truly lacking and brings down the experience. One positive here is that they will serve you fresh wasabi but will charge you 2 dollars for it. One negative was that the wait time was 30 mins from ordering to food arriving at table. We were pretty hungry by then. It was a sunday night.

Appetizers were tasty and you must try the soft shell crab. The rolls were beautiful and large.

Awesome experience. One of the best sushis I have ever had. Beautiful restaurant and amazing service. Hope I can comeback again one day.

We just moved closer to this area so we wanted to try out this place. I love sushi and my boyfriend loves steak bowls. The food was really good and I’m typically picky about my sushi. I got the Dragon Roll and it was delicious! My boyfriend got the steak bowl and he said it was really good as well! We will definitely be going back!
