I bought the Smoked Venison Sausage and for dessert I bought one Brownie that is the size of a Buick!! It lasted all week! The sausage was soo good I wished I had gotten more.Make sure you put this on your Do Stop In trip.Parking: Parked in front.
Good customer service. Guys are friendly. But my BBQ chop beef baked potato was yucky. It was served cold not even Luke warm. This was approx 6:30 dinner time.I actually stopped thru on my 2 hrs drive home just to try the BBQ. After already stopping thru on my way, passing thru town for breakfast. Kolaches blueberry muffin. I TOOK 2 SPOON FULLS OF THE POTATO ? $14 POTATO and just thru it away . I was hoping to enjoy it on my ride home for dinner.
One of the best , if not the best chicken fried steak in Texas . We all know the gravy is an important component of a good chicken steak . Their's hits the mark as does it blackeye peas and corn served as side dishes . Offers plenty of pies and sweet rolls if desired . Will have to wait n try those next time
Great place to stop between Houston and Austin. Awesome food with great taste. Fast service. Atmosphere is nice. Feels good to eat there. Service is fast and efficient. The bakery and store side is very nice and the prices on their sausage by the pound is fantastic. I bought a lot. Restrooms are very clean. I recommend this place to eat anytime. You won't go wrong here and you won't leave hungry.
Was disappointed in the 2 blueberry muffins we bought. No blueberries. Well I say that, but there was 1 blueberry in each muffin. Definitely not what I remembered from last purchase. Apple kolaches were good though. And fresh baked loaf of bread was very good as usual.
