The upstairs room was lovely, and the staff were very friendly. The food was delicious, and there was plenty of it. We were really impressed!
A group of us had lunch at Tavern, and while the hostess didn't provide enough menus at first, someone had to ask for additional copies to ensure everyone had one. Our waitress was friendly and attentive, making our experience pleasant. The lunch menu featured typical options like soups, salads, sandwiches, and sides, with generous portion sizes. Prices were reasonable and reflective of the current rise in food costs. Overall, the restaurant was clean and well-maintained.
I typically don't write negative reviews, but I feel compelled to share our experience at the restaurant. My husband and I had booked a stay at the inn along with a dinner reservation. We ordered an appetizer, some drinks, and a duck dish. Unfortunately, our waitress visited our table only a few times; she never brought us any bread or refilled our drinks, despite consistently serving the table next to us. We felt overlooked and unimportant. Although we left her a 20% tip, my husband and I had an argument about it because we felt we were poorly treated. The food was quite pricey, yet it didn’t meet our expectations. Additionally, when we got to our room, we found the bathtub dirty with hair in it. I really hope this establishment improves, but we won’t be returning—our anniversary celebration was quite disappointing.
We weren't in the lodge. But we had reservations for dinner w family. Very diverse menu; we all had something different and it was all fabulous. The service was impeccable. The small bottom was, the banquet seat was badly damaged everywhere and not enough Gravy on Marsala and short ribs. Perch was amazing. Compact dessert menu, but who has space for dessert with all yummy entrees and sides. We didn't feel hurried. Will definitely go back!
I went with family member for lunch only. The food was delicious. The appetizer of roasted brussel sprouts with Maple Syrup was wonderful! It was enough for 4 to share but just 2 of us and it was so delicious that we ate it all! I had 1/2 Turkey/ Bacon sandwich with avocado. The whole grain bread was great just made it little thick to bite, but I did! My guest had CAB burger on fresh bun with fries and topped as she wished. She couldn't finish hers but it was great too. Our server was attentive and refilled drinks as needed. Sorry we didn't have room for dessert. No pictures either as didn't think about reviewing.
