Le Faisan Dore - Charenton-du-Cher

This restaurant is much nicer on the inside than it looks from outside. We had plat du jour at euros each and for that we got pate, salad and bread, then a small ham shank, baked potato, tomato, mini omelette and mushroom sauce, followed...by a selection of three cheeses and salad then choice of ice cream or chocolate cake and custard. In this price was also included a small carafe of wine each, a coffee and a jug of water. We thought this was excellent value for money and fully recommend a visit.
