Mr. Lester's Steakhouse - Charenton

I have been to this restaurant twice. The first time I ordered the 18 ounce New York strip $69) with baked potato $10) and the second time I ordered the 10 ounce blackened tuna $35) with grilled asparagus $13). Both meals were cooked perfectly and the taste was excellent. I love the food here. It it a bit pricey but if you are looking to impress someone or just have a great meal in a fancy environment, this is a great place to go.

I ordered the salmon and it was cooked to perfection! Everything we got was delicious. Also had a martini. The waiter was very quick to refill our drinks when needed and was able to answer all our questions on the menu. Dessert was amazing and several options! Pricey dinner but worth it.

The chateaubriand for 2 was simply excellent! the 4 cheese potatoes was great, like the marinated vegetables!

An amazing experience. the last time (all other paints) I visited, carolyn was the manager. we sat there where we could see in the front of the kitchen. we ordered corn carb bisque, classic caesar, chateaubriand, twice baked potatoes, lyonnaise potatoes, grilled asparagus hollandaise. free bread basket with three different aromas of butter. had the brown chocolate cake. blood sugar went over 200. then covered with their check free chocolate strawberries, red with cake squares, pralins. sweet tee water. no half glasses here. $200 including tipp. Friday evening dinner at 17 o'clock. no children allowed (within cypress bayou casino). has a clavable. the dinning area for the hour or so there was never more than 20% full. I would imagine the reason is the casino has very little traffic also at the weekends. maybe 5% capacity. parking next to casino is only 10%. something serious wrong with the casino

Excellent steakhouse! the garlic-mash potatoes are my favorite side dish. everything is fresh, including a lot of freshly baked bread. the caramel cheesecake is my favorite dessert. their steaks are better than many expensive steak houses I visited. they are expensive, but it is worth it.
