Great beer and good food. Love the Loud IPA. Steak and fish tacos very good. Chorizo taco was dripping oil but tasty. $4 beers, must have been happy hour. Will be back next time in Charleston.
I ate here a couple of times with friends while staying in Charleston and we all enjoyed it. Pretty good tacos, particularly the chorizo. The general tso burrito I was skeptical of, but actually tasted pretty good! The nachos weren't bad, but we all preferred straight chips and queso. The bulgogi taco is a great idea but isn't really bulgogi, instead it's steak with kimchi and other ingredients. It was still good, but worth mentioning for those who are looking for true
I'd wager this is the best food and brewery in Charleston. The menu is diverse yet phenomenal. Tons of unique items and takes on traditional Mexican cuisine. The beers are solid not the best I've had but rock solid nonetheless. Great mixed drinks. The service is what really stands out to me here. We visited for Bad Shepard Brewery (located inside). The beer was very good for both a IPA fan and a Belgian fan. Lots of beer options and many were true winners. Its not as common we all find a great beer at the same brewery. The Black Sheep menus was fun with tons of cool taco options. Chorizo and Korean BBQ were my favorite. We also hit up the airport bar for some more Bad Shepard beer on our way out of WV. ???? good stuff.
