California Dreaming - Charleston

They don't accomodate large party of randomly 10 guest we all had to sit at separate tables and it was my niece birthday so we got up and left because if we paying we should get the type of service ask for upon reservation not when we arrived, I will not return it's nothing like how it use to be .

Had the Grilled Salmon salad and it was delicious. Server was very friendly engaging with table and attentive. The view was awesome, it was crowded busy for Father’s day weekend but we were all very comfy.

Usually one of my favorite spots to hit when I 'm in town. The food was good it was only warm and not hot out the kitchen. The new item on the menu GARLIC SHRIMP needs to be removed. It 's only 6 shrimp and 4 pieces of toasted bread. Truly not worth the price. Service was average as well this time.

Amazing views with a phenomenal meal. Was a little loud to deal with, but ok.

Have been coming to this restaurant for years, unfortunately it gets a little worse every time. Service was slow and our food was either warm or overcooked. Don't think I'll waste my time coming back!! The temperature outside was 60 degrees and the air conditioning was blowing right on us. We told the hostess that it was cold inside and NOTHING was done about it. I was wearing a pullover sweater and was cold the entire time I was there. It was not an enjoyable evening ?. Update on this restaurant June 19,2024. Tried to get a reservation for 8 people for this Sunday. They said they had to ask the manager for parties larger than 6. We were refused. In the past, we have been there with twice that amount. 3 people in our party are in Charleston from out of state and thought that California Dreaming would be a nice place to take them. Apparently we were WRONG!!!!!
