East Bay Deli is a Charleston staple. At this price point, you can 't beat their menu. All your greatest deli hits are here, ruebens, clubs, and even hot dogs. We brought our little nephews in and even THEY were able to find something on EBD 's HUGE menu. EBD feels like a NY deli in it 's decor, set up (line system built for volume), self-service drinks around the side, and speed. Lunch doesn 't have to take an hour; you can order, eat, drink, and bounce in 30 minutes. We always order the Citadel as it 's EBD 's classic club and exactly what you want in a basic club. Perfect lunch size. Our nephew enjoyed the reuben and even finished the whole thing! We 'd also like to compliment EBD on their assisted salad bar. The salad bar is a nice compromise on what salad bars USED to be coupled with what works best now. The young lady who helped us assemble our salad was friendly, had great suggestions, and piled the extras up high! Again, EBD offers all your classic deli faves and has something for everybody. Our only constructive feedback would be to offer fresh cut fries and some additional fresher side options (e.g., pasta salads). Yes, we understand that this would raise costs and YES, we 're willing to pay more for fresh cut fries...especially if they 're riding shotgun next to our Citadel. We look forward to our next quick Citadel at East Bay Deli.
Just walking by and the smell grabbed my nose, caressed my stomach and made my brain turn my feet towards the door! As soon as I opened The door, the freshest smells of fresh food washed over me, I couldn't wait to sit down. I suddenly wished for 4 stomachs. The Chicken Charleston was melt in my mouth amazing and their tea is spot on! The portions are more than your paying for, so you leave full, happy and the service is smiling, friendly tip worthy. I highly recommend East Bay Deli
I went here yesterday for lunch and got the Greek salad. It was awesome! I haven't been here in a while and glad to see they still get busy at lunch. Line moves quick and everyone enjoyed the sandwiches they got! I will be back!
Tiniest Italian sub over ever received in my life. $12 with tax. I'd skip and eat elsewhere.
