East Bay Deli Downtown - Charleston

You have to go! The sandwich was BIG! I ordered and the order was wrong and they were so friendly and changed it and we are really cool about it. Thank you to the woman who checked us, you were really nice and let us smile. Go there for good food and good service

I had this Deli and the sandwich definitely didn't disappoint today! Beautiful, fresh meat and easy to order with a wide selection of sandwiches to choose from. Only it ranked 4 stars, because my husband and I ordered only 2 simple sandwiches, plan on a fast meal just before our tour of Fort Sumter, and it took about 15 minutes to get the sandwiches...not bad, but felt longer than it should have.

This place is great! We usually don't go for lunch because I worked in a delicacies dinner for years. But we decided this time. It was a 7-minute walk from South Carolina's Aquarium. We came a little after lunch so they were not really busy. We ordered Dixie Darling, Chicken Cranberry and a grilled cheese sandwich for our 5 years. The sandwiches were so delicious. We also have their chocolate chips cookie and Lemon Blueberry cookie (whaaatt?? And they were also delicious. They were very generous with the chocolate chips and the lemon blueberry cookie was so soft. We definitely recommend this place when you are near Downtown Charleston.

East Bay Deli Downtown on East Bay Street in Charleston is a great place for delicious and well prepared sandwiches, salads and much more. They are consistent in their quality throughout the years and I have enjoyed my order every time.
