The Hungry Haven - Charlestown

After moving to Maine 3 years ago from Dunn's Corners, one of the things I miss the most is our weekly breakfast at Hungry Haven. They have the best Eggs Benedict around. The staff is incredibly friendly and home cooked meals are awesome. Miss you guys! xxoo

NOT what you would expect when you drive in the parking lot. It appears to be a little lunch counter, but it's so much more. Great staff and attentive service, and at least the day I was there, what may possibly be the best Lobster Bisque I've ever had (and I've had it everywhere! It's well worth the trip for a great lunch.

My first visit started with the #5 for a late breakfast. The corn beef hash was real (not from the can). I was very happy w/ the service, the bottomless coffee, and the selection of items on the menu. I will be back soon. A special thank you to the Chef for an outstanding job !!

Liked it so much, we ate there twice! Great food, friendly service- Dee is running around but we never felt neglected. The lobster roll was packed and sandwiches fresh! The specials were local seafood and plentiful.

My family and I go all the time! Love the food and the casual setting. Can’t go wrong with breakfast or dinner.
