An excellent find for lunch. We stopped here on a whim with the kids on school vacation after taking the ferry over from Long Wharf. The restaurant was very clean, and we were seated right away. Our server was funny and attentive. The food here was really good and a pleasant surprise. The **** Mary's were great, and my wife and I split the oysters, chowder and fish and chips, all of which were excellent. They also have a nice kid's menu, and you cannot beat the view.

My daughter, who lives in Charlestown, wanted a fun celebration of her pregnancy that allowed people to safely have fun and good food and drink in a beautiful environment. Pier 6 fit the bill in all respects last Saturday. The two rooms (separated by a short stairway) were right off of the bar and surrounded by beautiful harbor views. The food was delicious and Julianna, our bartender, took care of everyone for the entire afternoon. It was just what my daughter had wanted and I'm very grateful to Jill and the great team at Pier 6 for helping us have this perfect celebration.
Beautiful views of the Boston skyline. We went there at 4 o'clock and had the midday menu. Tuna Tartare* and their steamed muscles. Both delicious.
