Blenheim Vineyards - Charlottesville

Been a club member here for years despite never living in Charlottesville. We love coming down and hanging out on nice weekends plenty of outdoor space and usually food trucks. Today they had an Oyster truck and it was wonderful.

Oh my gosh…. The views from the tasting room is absolutely amazing. Such a beautiful spot for a delicious glass of wine with friends! This would be a great place to stop on a bike ride around the area too.

We first visited Blenheim over 8 years ago, it was officially our first winery. 250 wineries later and a visit yesterday, we joined the wine club. Virginia did our tasting and she was fantastic, super knowledgeable and fun to talk to. Every wine we tasted was good, it was so refreshing to taste one good wine right after another. Blenheim and Gabriele Rausse are right down the road from each other, both special places with great wine.

Incredible! We were in Charlottesville for a wedding and extended our stay for a day so we could explore some of the wineries and all that the area has to offer. As huge DMB fans, it only made sense that we stopped by Blenheim. From the second we arrived, there was a relaxed and chill vibe that clicked with us. The whole place is decorated with Dave’s art, which is just amazing to see alone. We chose to do a guided wine tasting, which I can’t recommend enough. Marciah (Marcy-Ah) I’m not sure I’m spelling her name properly, was amazing. She was so knowledgeable about everything, super sweet, funny and just a joy to chat with. She even did interpretive dances to explain how the wines tasted. I wanted to hug her when we left but we’re still in Covid times so, even after a few glasses of wine, I held back We stayed for almost 4 hours, ate, drank, laughed, soaked in the views and loved every minute of our visit. I can’t recommend Blenheim enough. We can’t wait to come back when we visit again.

Comfortable visits with the dogs. Pleasant view, kid-friendly, laid back. We particularly like the 2019 painted red and the 2018 painted white.
