Jefferson Vineyards - Charlottesville

We visited as a couple, we did the white and red tastings and then we settled on the Meritage 2018 and the viognier 2019. The atmosphere is great, no children and distanced canopies where you can peacefully enjoy the views and the wine. The staff members were the nicest and very helpful, so far the best winery we've been to in the Charlottesville area.

Great views, and a good selection of wine. Staff is knowledgable and friendly. Large outdoor space to look out at the mountains, and the gazebo is a nice touch. Try the Meritage if you like bold red wines.

Nice vineyard with a good view. Very friendly staff. They helped us pick out our drinks. With their help we chose the ?do it yourself? wine tasting. Wine was good but the information given with the wine could have been a more detailed.

Visited here for an hour or two before a wedding we attended in Charlottesville and it was great! The wine was fantastic and the view from our outside table was so beautiful! We would visit again when we are in the area!

Have come as part of a group several times after a nearby hike such as the Monticello Trail. It's always been a good option provided it's not full to capacity. It's a real plus that they are okay with bringing outside food in to enjoy with their selection of wine. Glad this place is nearby and is such an enjoyable, convenient, and scenic choice.
