Rocket Coffee - Charlottesville

It feels like a disaster struck. Unless there have been some major renovations in the corridor that completely conceal the chaos, this place is a ghost town.

The coffee here is decent, although I wish the espresso flavor was a bit stronger. It wasn't bad overall. I paid around $6 for a signature latte with almond milk. However, I felt uncomfortable seeing the person at the register not wearing a mask, and they didn't wash their hands before preparing my drink—even eating beforehand. If that doesn’t bother you, the iced latte and other latte flavors are quite good. The atmosphere is charming, though there aren't many tables or seating areas. It's a nice spot to grab a coffee, especially if you're planning to pick up some pastries from ABC Bakery right next door.

The coffee and bagels here are fantastic, especially with the variety of greens and toppings available. The atmosphere is lively and the baristas are quite entertaining. We loved spending time on the cozy terrace and exploring the renowned drinks menu.

Kota our batista was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and was at ease when recommending drinks. Coffee intuition was on point. Very personable, and the coffee was excellent! We got, The Stern Pilgrim and the milky way! Would recommend to anyone visiting Charlottesville! Mention sonichu for a *discount*!!!

Love love love Rocket Coffee! Best espresso in the area. Friendly and attentive staff. You can tell they care about the quality of what they serve. My experiences here are always positive. Highly recommend stopping in for coffee, breakfast and/or lunch. The bagel breakfast sandwiches are out of this world!
