The Shebeen Pub Braai - Charlottesville

We reserved the outdoor area for a wonderful brunch with friends and family. Our experience was fantastic. The owner, Megan, was present and extremely helpful. The staff was attentive and worked hard to accommodate our large group, and the food was delicious. When it got too hot outside, they offered to move us inside and transfer the food. They treated us like family and we couldn't have asked for more. We are so grateful for everything they did for us and can't wait to visit again!

On Saturday at 1 o'clock. parking was easy. not full. denver steak. corn. cobb salad. samosas. they even cut my steak. Oh, the smells. the waitress was so nice!

This was our second visit to Shebeen. We had a fantastic brunch the first time, but the second visit got off to a rocky start. The restaurant was very busy, but the service was exceptional. My wife ordered the benny and it had the best smoked salmon she's ever tasted. She loved it. I had the shrimp, which was also delicious and the shrimp sauce was a favorite of mine. A mistake by the server could have put a damper on our experience, but the outstanding food and attentive manager turned things around. We are already looking forward to our next visit. Beautiful South African restaurant in charlottesville. they enjoy a great vaterday with family and a special friend. the food was unbeatable. highly recommended.

Nice portions, nice blend of seasonings. Went for a Thanksgiving style meal where we shared everything. did not disappoint. very tasty, great drinks, great time.
