Yuanho Gao Chinese Zhōng Guó Cān Tīng Wài Mài

I don’t know what happened with some of y’all, but I lived in Cville for two years 2019-2021) and I ordered a lunch or dinner special religiously from Yuan Ho, sometimes more than twice a week, and never had any complaints. In fact, their General Tso’s chicken sesame chicken are so consistently good that I can’t order either of those things from any Chinese restaurant in my new city, because every single one is so much worse than Yuan Ho— and that’s saying something. My food was always hot, crispy, juicy, delicious— so good that I didn’t even consider ordering anything else. Service was prompt and polite. I can’t speak for most of the other dishes on the menu, but my vegetarian roommate at the time always ordered the Eggplant Tofu at least once a week) and also loved it. I’d suggest going during a time when they’re not overwhelmed with other orders, but as I say— I ate there at various times of day more than once a week for 2 years, and I was never disappointed. I miss Yuan Ho so much that I often think about driving back to Cville just to get lunch, and it’s 3 hours away now. 5 stars for awesome food, I’m just sad I don’t live around the corner anymore :

Very Solid Chinese restaurant. Don't expect a fancy atmosphere but the quality of the food is quite good. I recommend the mapo tofu, and excellent and complex mushroomy flavor.

A great place for your basic asian/american food. Szechuan Chicken is awesome! I also like the Orange Chicken. With a large menu of various options, you can't go wrong.

I have been eating here for YEARS!!!! I was a meat eater then switch to vegetarian and they still keep me satisfied with great food that lasts me a couple of days on one meal!!!!

I've been here twice and both times have been really good, I get the beef
