The food I ordered looked just like the picture and tasted as good as I expected. The service was really fast and it really seems to be paying attention to the needs of the customer. When you finish eating, you can go straight to the counter to pay. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a great Vietnamese food.
I have only ever eaten the E4 (sadly can't remember its menu name), which is a vegetarian option consisting of rice Vermicelli noodles, vegetables and tofu, and dear Lord it is good. And consistent! It's always the same. Quick, no nonsense service, almost every week there.
The food was fresh and very tasty. It is a nice atmosphere with friendly staff and an authentic feeling. I agree with a previous critic that it was too cold in the dining room... Dough to enjoy yourself completely when you keep your winter coat on.
Awesome food, price was right, staff great. Practice using chopsticks, or bring or ask for a fork. I will definitely be going back here again. Good stuff Pho Hung it was awesome B1 combo very good. Thanks for the suggestion Lain.
Their food is great, at least the different types of Pho that I have sampled have been great. Service has been just fine too. My only complaint, is the restaurant is freezing cold in the winter! I've been there twice this winter and it was the same both times. My friend and I kept our winter coats on tonight and we were still shivering, even the hot Pho wasn't enough to warm us up. The problem is they have only one door that opens directly into the street. So every time the door opens, it lets the cold in. They have a big heater on the wall but apparently it hasn't been working for a while. I was curious just how chilly it was, and looked at the thermostat on the wall near the restrooms. It was set for about 24C, but was showing the temperature was only 16C to 17C max! It's hard to enjoy a nice meal and conversation when you can only think about wanting to leave to get warm. It was enough to keep me from wanting to eat in again until the Summer or at least until a warm spring day. I really don't like leaving a negative review, but I feel compelled to do so because I want to see this place succeed. I explained this to the staff but I don't think they are taking this issue seriously. Maybe if other customers voice the same concern they will take steps to correct the situation so they don't lose more local customers. PEI's winters are too long and cold to not be able to provide a pleasant dining environment from Nov to March.
