Francesco's Italian Bakery - Charlton

I highly recommend visiting this restaurant for their delicious Italian dishes! Their canoli is the best I've ever had, the stuffed breads are fantastic, and I can't get enough of their taralli. Everything Italian that I've tried from them has been exceptional. However, their non-Italian baked goods can be a bit hit-or-miss. Some have been incredibly delicious (like the pumpkin whoopie pie), while others have been just okay (such as the strawberry shortcake). Despite this, it's still worth trying out different items on their menu!

I ordered a variety of pastries (8) and while I did enjoy the lemon bar and walnut cookies, the rest of the selection was disappointing. The ricotta squares were particularly unsatisfactory, as they were underbaked and overly sweet.

My daughters 3rd birthday Elsa cake is seriously a work of art!!! The detail in Elsa hair the snowflakes, glitter and colors are spot on!!!!! Thank you so very much!!!! We have been going to Francescos for over 5 years now and they never cease to amazingme!!!!!! I would give them a billion stars if I could!!!!!!!

Francesco's Italian Bakery created my wedding cake for my May 2022 wedding and did an amazing job. They are truly the best bakery out there. A week before my wedding, the bakery I originally had making my cake backed out, leaving me scrambling to find a new bakery with less than a week to spare. Francesco's stepped up to the challenge and delivered the most beautiful wedding cake I could have asked for. I was initially worried about the outcome since they only had 6 days to make my cake last minute, but they exceeded all expectations. My wedding cake was absolutely stunning, and I was brought to tears by their incredible work. I cannot recommend Francesco's enough to anyone looking for a bakery for any event. Use Francesco's, and you will not be disappointed.
