Contribuisci feedbackWe have been frequenting The Amber Rooms for a while now, and like all Wetherspoons, you can expect great value drinks and food. Since Dan and his team, previously from Moon and Bell in town, have taken over, we have noticed a significant improvement in the overall experience at The Amber Rooms. We want to give a special mention to Alice, who always goes above and beyond to provide top-notch customer service with a smile, whether serving drinks or food to our table. It seems that the place is now cleaner and the staff are more efficient in clearing tables. The food is served hot and promptly. Overall, we have no complaints or criticisms.
The food at this Wetherspoons restaurant was as expected, but the staff were extremely rude. One of the staff members even swore at us and accused us of sitting at the wrong table. Despite our explanation that we were at table 50, not 15, he rudely insisted that he already knew that and berated us. Incredibly unprofessional behavior.
The staff was welcoming and the service was quick. The food surpassed my expectations for a Weatherspoons. The Onion Rings were better than those I've had at more expensive restaurants.
This place was absolutely awful and unwelcoming, they even got us barred from the rest of the local bars. Awful end to an average night!
Ordered large fish and chips. Got very small fish, peas frozen to very cold plate, chip's barely warm. Ask for person in charge, still waiting after 35 minutes. Give this place a miss, no interest in customers at all.
