Townsville Barra Fun Park

Absolutely great place for the family. Staff, where amazing. The food was good. Very recommended if there was a ball in the Kids area and we all caught a few Barra.

Children love it here. Bit Pricy for a family on a budget, but many options to make it affordable. Children got a beautiful fish and loved the slides and obstacles in the water park. Go early if you want some shade and breeze.

Great place. So much fun. Eat or buy something. The owner goes beyond and beyond to make sure everyone is okay. We went out yesterday and the brook flooded and brought us all back to the park until it was safe to go. Top-Bloke and his staff are also fabulous.

Everyone had a great and very full day, just stopped for lunch! No one was to do without anything. This needs much more advertising, great family activities!

Great place for a fun day. Came here to try out the obstacle course and the banana boat, it was well worth the visit. It was great to see that people from all different age groups were together in the water having the best time. Everyone has to wear a swim vest too which is good. Entry fee of $33 per person is really reasonable considering it gives you access to everything for the whole day. You can also fish and there's some drinks and snacks being sold. There's plenty of shade area with tables and chairs so you can escape the sun for a while and have some snacks, perfect for parents to relax and to watch their kids having fun in the water nearby. Only thing I could complain about is that some of the young staff liked to race past the rest areas around the obstacle course way too fast in their little vehicles. Swirling up all the dirt and not looking out for all the little children well enough. Overall we had a really pleasant experience and are keen to come back!
