The mutton curry is incredible and the naan LARGE. The kindness of the staff is tangible. The food is excellent and the atmosphere unique and interesting. The food takes time to prepare, and I’m always happy to watch music videos while I wait. I’ve eaten here several times and it’s always a pleasure to return.
If you prefer butter chicken that is overly sweet go for it. The garlic naan has too much of those dry garlic flakes in it. I asked for rice and got jasmine rice, for real who has jasmine rice with Indian food. Not authentic Indian food.
Great food will definitely be back. There weren't many people around 7pm and the food came extremely fast. I love spicy food but I have a pretty average tolerance for a whitey. I ordered level 5 curry (as I always do, to gauge a restaurant) and I barely noticed any spice. I'll probably go straight for 10 next time.
I have a nut allergy, so the waiter brought out an allergy menu. I wish there were more options for nut free curries, but was happy to see three options. We got the Chicken Keema (spice 6) with garlic cheese naan and Mutton Masala (spice 3) with garlic naan. Garlic cheese naan won, but both were fantastic. I like a small amount of spice and thought the 6 was a good level personally. The food was delicious! We ended up also ordering a medium bowl of rice to complete our meal. Total spent was around 3000¥ for lunch. We will definitely be coming back!
