I like the vibe - we were lucky enough to get a table outside on a Saturday night - and the drink I had (essentially vodka and iced tea) was good & strong.
Best place for a little cajun cooking! Boudin and fried green beans are a must try! And for an extra bit of Nola feel, try going during a Saints Game :)
Big disappointment for this cafeteria. lack of cleanliness on the whole (non-clean meals / toilets that resemble more of neglected city toilets / seating of stubborn chairs ...). the quality of the products is very poor. the fish "plat of the day" was dry and tasteless. fades vegetables without flavor. desserts although attractive are not of good quality either: caramel cream with cums and too sweet. we are very far from home-made products ... the welcome leaves as much to desire. the staff is not helpful and takes up (notably the older gentleman at the service of the day dishes to whom I advise to change professional orientation). No smiles. nothing positive about this very low-end coffee shop. To avoid!
Very good home cooking (not always frequent in cafeterias), excellent value for money. address
