Le Hors Piste - Châtel

Lovely owner, amazing burgers, good drinks and a nice little outdoor seating area in the middle of the village which makes for a nice atmosphere.

We’ve already eaten twice at this restaurant this week, and come back every year we visit Chatel. It is a small, cosy place, very welcoming and serves excellent food. We particularly enjoyed the chilli burger with guacamole and home made chips. You do need to...make a reservation, but don’t worry about phoning ahead (as I do the owner is English (I think) and the French staff speak excellent English. I was pleased to see they check the COVID passes.

Excellent service, great staff and very nice hostess! Great pizza's and burgers. Sticky toffee cake and the banana/coconut pizza were fantastic. Highly recommended

Super welcoming atmosphere- like walking into your local but friendlier. Staff are great and food was phenomenal have the special- trust me it’s amazing.

We had an evening meal here - although it looks like a cafe the food was outstanding. We ordered the specials and they were all amazing, the fish of the day was particularly good, as were the homemade desserts. The staff were friendly, all in all a great evening out.
