The Captains House Inn - Chatham

Very great get away. Food was so tasty and especially loved tea.

We enjoyed the convenience of being able to walk to Chatham Bars for a drink and into town for shopping and dinner, although the route wasn’t the most convenient due to the lack of sidewalks in Chatham. However, driving would be easy, as most destinations in Chatham are within a mile or so. The only downside was that we had an issue getting into our room around 9 PM because we temporarily misplaced our key. Unfortunately, we couldn’t reach anyone at the inn for assistance, but we managed to retrace our steps and found the key. If we hadn’t, this could have posed a significant problem. Despite this, we would definitely consider staying here again on our next visit to Chatham.

I was in Chatham for a long weekend and stayed at the Captains House Inn. The property is beautiful and well maintained by Dan, also the Inn keepers Stephanie and Taylor are incredibly welcoming and they make you feel at home. I would highly recommend this Inn and would definitely stay in the future.

Couldn’t have pictured a better place to stay and celebrate our engagement. Taylor, Stephanie, and the entire staff were more than willing to go above and beyond throughout our entire stay. The location is perfect, the grounds are beautiful, and the food was delicious. Can’t wait to visit again soon.
