Centro Wood Fired Kitchen - Chatham

This used to be one of my favorite places in Chatham, it was always excellent with good choices and the featured meal was outstanding, until last night! Waitress was not very interested and impatient, food took over 1.5 hours to get to table, mine was burnt Thai sandwich) , was never asked if we were satisfied so i never received a better sandwich so i only had fries for supper. My husbands salmon was also burnt on bottom! When time for the bill and i showed her my black sandwich she did want to replace it....duh it was 9 pm and i didn't want to wait another maybe hour to get food, they did not charge me for meal or drinks and gave me a piece of cheesecake to go home with which was nice but i went home so hungry!! Prices are high but i never minded because the food was so good....It's nice to go out for supper and eat something i don't make at home.....won't be back :

My wife and i went for our anniversary. Food was great, pretty loud atmosphere. We were disappointed there was nothing for dessert, had to go elsewhere for alittle treat after dinner. Overall disappointed.

Great service and food. I went with my granddaughters ages 2 and 5. The wait staff was excellent with them, even when one of them spilled her water. They are picky eaters and loved the chicken tenders with the parm fries. I wish they would move it to Amherstburg so I can go more often.

Rylan was our server. He was extremely attentive and made some great recommendations. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of food and how nice the restaurant was. We will be returning.

The first few times, my experience with Ben the bartender and the staff seemed so friendly. The last two times, the wait staff were very rude and not accommodating. We requested a booth when reserving, they had told us no problem. Then tried to sit us at a table, we had said we actually requested a table, only to have another waitress come over, and embarrass us, saying we DO NOT reserve booths. The last visit, we had reserved the bar, only to arrive and they had given our reservation away, even though we were 10 mins early. We were then told to go to the patio, only to be approached by a very unpleasant waitress, stating we are not allowed to just go to the patio, she was so unpleasant and rude that I didn’t want to leave a tip. Two occasions of being treated so wrong by the staff, I do NOT care how good the food is, nobody deserves to be treated that way, when spending their hard earned money. Send your staff to moral school on how to treat patrons or tell them to go to McDonald’s, or the kitchen, where they don’t need to work with the public! It is a disgrace! Treat others how you want to be treated, and if they want to be treated how they treat patrons, ohhh watch out. They would probably cry in a corner!
