Countryside has specials each day, which often include dessert. The Chinese food comes in many different combos, with three or four items. Most of them are quite tasty. Also have take out.

Had a coupon buy 1 entree or combination plate get one free! Used a coupon few months ago and got what we wanted...combination plates. This time said no just applied to lunch combination plates because owners had changed and losing money on regular combination plates. Same people owned it when we ordered before. Not my problem. Feel we would have ended up with a pile of fried rice. Will not eat there again and will let everyone know how we were treated.

This is a great place to eat. Daily specials, great breakfast and lunch menu. Reasonably priced, full plate of food. They close around 2pm. Grandma walks around to every table and makes sure that everyone is happy with their dining experience.

I have been getting tired of Chinese food, eating more Thai these days. Chinese menu items tend to gravitate toward lame rice and chicken balls. Yes, Countryside serves these items but with a lot more quality and flare and at a great price. The plates are FULL when you get them, colourful vegetables, less dough and more chicken, exciting choices, and as you read, plentiful servings. I ordered one of the $9.25 combo plate and thank goodness i was hungry...I barely finished it. It's true what other reviewers have said--taking home part of your great meal is not uncommon. The serving staff is very friendly and accomodating. the cooks use no MSG so they say. Countryside also serves a great breakfast. The decor is not fancy here...but they are doing everything right, at the right price.
