Now that was the first time that I eat cold shanam chicken and the waitress said it means cold to be sorry young, that is simply the very strange version of the huh. Also, the pink short hair waitress should get more training for customer service. their attitude was quite aggressive to the customer, just because a simple question. the restuarant was quite empty at that time, but they left dirty dishes of former customers on my table (in the sense?
Had to write something nice because I really enjoyed the Chinese pancake we had the stock standard one (no extra pickles, extra that), only level 101 after we saw the pictures and read pair of passport reviews. it was super delicious. interesting concept (at least for me) was not exposed to it. it is like a cross between chee cheong fun (this steam-free noodle at yum cha) and an omelette. will definitely return to the full monty with all toppings perfect snack on the jump.
I eat only the jian bing and it is nice, except they sometimes get my order wrong (different fillings to what I ordered) would go back. I wish they would open until later.
When I went to China, I tried the chinese pancake and it was very good. Then I discovered that this place in chatswood has the chinese pancake as well. I order the spicy one with a dough stick inside. The only downside was that the skin isn’t crispy, as the one I had in China was crispy. I think I’ll try the next one with crispy skin instead, because as I was eating, the lady in the cashier asked a customer whether she wanted her pancake to have a crispy or soft skin. I wonder why she didn’t ask me the question.
