The Bobbie is great hot or cold. The Slaw B Joe is excellent (though mostly cause of the Russian dressing) and the new American wagyu sandwiches are outstanding.It's a pricey sandwich, but actually worth it.

Went upon opening-as is the norm for me to avoid crowds and people-on Saturday at 10am to try to Capastrami. Chose the 10 inch and plunked down $16 bucks, also the norm for anything sandwich these days, no chips, drink, tip, or any other bullshit, or else you 're gonna be almost in the 25s.Its a nice and clean small shop, hard as hell metal uncomfortable seats (another norm like is it against the fucking law to have comfortable seats in any fast food restaurants in Los Angeles? Anyways had my butt cushion.They have free lollipops near the entrance. Ok how 's the nitrite king of kings taste??? The portion is perfect for a somewhat heavy eater, and a good meat ratio. The pastrami is soft and thin sliced and in tiny bits without any fatty nerves tendons or spit-out parts, so kudos for all that, but it is somewhat bland; needs to be seasoned a bit. The coleslaw and Russian dressing good, the bread is a standard hoagie roll that becomes soft after heating up on the grill. What it needed was a good hot mustard and pickles, which I had to ask for (the pickles on the side which were really good they also have a very spicy jalapeno chopped mix and a gross sweet pepper mix, hey to each their own. The kid at the counter have me all 3.In a nutshell, it was a solid 4, but cant go beyond that. The scarcity of a decent sub anywhere in the valley will probably drive me back here once in a while, but nothing worth obsessing about.

Great sandwiches, friendly staff. The American wagyu cheesesteak is probably my favorite sandwich. But the bobby is a good choice as well.

The cheesesteak or capastrami are my favorite. It's tucked behind chipotle. Usually it's pretty quick service here if you have a short lunch break.
