Back towards Atlanta I made a quick cut through the Ringgold highway to cut the time of the Interstate. it was a lot of traffic almost back to 75 I saw a firehouse subcamp. I was pleased to see it because I wanted to stop at Fireside before Nashville, but I accidentally handed it over. Too lazy and too much traffic to circle around. I moved to the store and danced to my favorite hook and conductor Sub. I like everything except those onions. Sure? re great but nope for me, no onions. I went to the counter to place my order and was behind a lady who came and ordered about a dozen sandwiches. She seemed a little upset that she wouldn't get her right away. The employees did everything they could to accommodate them and all the other customers who were there. I made my order and then I was mistaken for a few minutes until my sandwich is ready. It was done quite quickly; actually faster than I expected it would consider the great order they had just taken. Everyone there was really friendly and smiling and seems to have a good time though the store was pretty busy. That would they? ve was quite busy, even without the great order that had run in. Please, if you have a large order it?s polite to call so the staff can rush it ready for you and they don?t have to rush through everything, including the care of regular walk-in customers. Back to I 75 S. towards Atlanta. It's getting dark and I wish I was home. It was a long, miserable drive. At least it didn't rain. At least I have a really good sandwich to drive while I'm driving. I just have like two hours to go home and there's no way I can eat all these humble tasty firehouse foot-long Sub before I get there. If I did? ve had to go somewhere and take a nap.
Terrible service they didn't want to tend to us we had to wait while the system supposedly came up when they could have made our sandwiches just like they were about to right before the system supposedly came back up. You can tell when people are just lazy and don't want to work. Also I requested my bread be replaced with lettuce and they looked at me like I was speaking another language. Low carb is not new people should know but even if they don't it's not that hard to accommodate a customer with specific diatary needs like lettuce instead of bread...
This place was good at one time but the kids today stand around talk on phones or each other. I purchased chili and it took 15 mins to get it. When I did it was cold. I thought chili stays in a warmer to keep warm. Pathetic places can't get the hiring process down to keep these young idrods in check.
Well this was my first time ever having Firehouse Sub's a friend of mine said we should go there and I really needed to try it. Well I agreed and we went. My friend ordered his sandwich and moved, the cashier walked up and looked at me 3 time's before taking my order and she only took it then because people came in. She was rude when taking my order and not helpful at all. I don't expect Chick-fil-A customer service from them but some decent form of customer service would have been nice. Food was good but I'll never spend my money here again!!!
