Herman's Express - Chattanooga

I am at a loss for words to describe how amazing the food was at this restaurant! The catfish was incredibly fresh and juicy, and every side dish we tried was outstanding. I was completely impressed and would make a special trip to Chattanooga just to eat here again. The portion sizes were generous and I can't recommend this place enough.

We stopped at this restaurant as soon as we arrived in Chattanooga. Unfortunately, we couldn't dine inside so we had to get our food to go. The service was excellent. I ordered the whiting platter which came with two sides and cornbread, along with a drink. I chose Mac n cheese and yams as my sides. The two pieces of fish were good, but there were bones inside, so be careful. The yams were also tasty. However, the mac n cheese could have been better. Overall, you can't beat the price and portion sizes at this place, especially if you enjoy soul food.

The food at this restaurant is fantastic! I ordered takeout tonight and the food was amazing.

This is a great place to order food. The food is good. You have to order take out because the dining area is closed because of the virus. Best Soul food restaurant in town.

I was served very unacceptable obviously old food ..would have appreciated their honesty more than making a buck
